Hi, there. I haven't been on in a while, but I'm back for another riveting post. Yeah that's right, I said riveting. You just have to look at the comments that my posts are generating to know that this is a quality blog right here. :p lol
Okay, all I have to say is that I have recently gone back to a site that I had written off. The site in question is skillpages. A lot of you might know about it already and maybe even signed up for a free account. Basically what it is is a site were you go and put up any skills you have. Whether it's writeing, machine operative, shelf stacker, hell even if your a professional seat warmer, you put it up and then search the site for any jobs that people have posted on there.
Now don't make the mistake of thinking that this is your average job site, because it ain't. Some of the jobs on the site are posted for freelancers and hobbyists. So if you have a hobby you'd like to put to work for you or if you're looking for a job any job, then by all means have yourself a gander at skillpages.
I have put myself on as a creative writer and self-published author, then applied for a few writing jobs, just to test the waters and see if I can make some extra cash as the whole self-publishing thing isn't making me as rich as I hoped :)
I haven't heard anything back yet, as I think you have to wait for the time on the job post to end before they pick who they want. As they do with all jobs really. So wish me luck as I delve into the unknown abyss that is freelance writing.
